This architectural, recessed patient room light offers both exam and
ambient lighting in one streamlined fixture. The MAE features innovative
optical technology which provides powerful, focused illumination for
examinations. Its unique design directs the light onto the bed and
provides glare-free illumination for both the healthcare professional
and patient. An architecturally styled design helps bring a relaxed,
comfortable feel to any patient room environment.

3 The switching device is to be normally-open, momentary contact switch. Activation of the contact provides the
following illumination scenarios: Ambient only - on, Exam only - on, Ambient and Exam - on, Ambient and Exam - off.
Other switching options available; contact factory.
4 For flange (hard lid, sheetrock) application, specify the Drywall Framing Kit (DF-22-W-U or DF-24-W-U). Order the
appropriate Germ Guard Door with grid MAE fixture. Ceiling cutout dimensions: 2' x 2'=24-3/8" x 24-3/8"; 2' x 4'= 24-3/8" x 48-3/8".
5 Fixture not suited for continuous row applications. Fixture length exceeds 24" (2' x 2') and 48" (2' x 4').
6 For MAE 2' x 2', up to 3 ballasts can be specified. 2' x 2' fixture with multiple ballasts and a combination of EM, RIF, EM, RIF, LVCP,
LED Reading Lights - will require back-box to mount electrical. 2" additional height. Please consult Technical Support prior to ordering.
