Portable Alerting System Notification TACWAVES Description TACWAVES is a portable Mass Notification System (MNS) that can be rapidly deployed in a field military or civil environment. It allows you to distribute critical information before, during and after a disaster. Cooper Notification’s TACWAVES (Tactical Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System) is a Portable Alerting System that allows emergency or security personnel to effectively provide public address, crowd control or emergency warning. TACWAVES is a portable field notification unit for tactical operation, forward unit deployments, disaster management and temporary events. The mobile system requires minimal operator set-up and can be rapidly deployed before, during and after a disaster. TACWAVES and Mobile Speaker Arrays (MSA), which are available separately, can operate as stand-alone alerting systems or be integrated together into one system, as well as with a permanent WAVES system. TACWAVES is a totally modular design and can be easily expanded to support any size deployment, humanitarian mission or temporary event. The standard equipment package consists of Base Station Control Unit and Power Supply, Base Station Tower and Field Station Towers. TACWAVES delivers annoucements, originating from the IBS via digital Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) radios at 2.4 GHz. The secure wireless communications network features anti-jamming capabilities and high immunity to interference, eavesdropping and spoofing. It also protects the network in the event of a disaster.
