Requirements:
1. Applicant must be enrolled in at least one class at Kent State University at the Regional Academic Center
seeking a two-year associate or four-year baccalaureate degree.
2. First priority will be given to applicants that are an employee or spouse, child or stepchild of an employee of
a business located in the Joint Economic Development District (J.E.D.D.) area (see map on page 2 for
J.E.D.D. area boundaries). Next priority will be given to any resident of Twinsburg Township or the Village
of Reminderville, and then to a resident of the City of Twinsburg.

4. Applicant must submit the J.E.D.D. scholarship application form, three letters of references from
individuals not related to the applicant and a 300 word essay stating why the scholarship is important to the
applicant. The application deadline for all materials is June 1st. Forward completed application, three letters
of reference and the 300 word essay to GeaugaFinAid@kent.edu.
