Deadline for submitting an application to receive a Spring scholarship is November 1. The deadline for a Summer or
Fall scholarship is February 14.
PURPOSE OF THE SCHOLARSHIP
The College of Education, Health and Human Services Study Abroad Scholarship is available to a deserving, student
who is enrolled in a major in the College of EHHS who is registered in an approved Kent State Study Abroad program.
AWARD AMOUNT
Varies – based on amount available, student need and personal statement.

Must be enrolled in a major/degree program within the College of Education, Health and Human Services
Must be in good academic standing with a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA
Must have applied for and been accepted for a KSU sponsored study abroad program
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours during study abroad semester (if going for full semester)
Can be enrolled part-time during short-term study abroad experiences
