The nominee can be a full-time non-tenure track or part-time faculty member with five or more years of
teaching experience in one of the CCI schools and NOT a graduate assistant. He/she must teach for one
of the College of Communication and Information schools: Communication Studies, Library and
Information Science, Journalism and Mass Communication or Visual Communication Design.

received; this award is for teaching excellence, not popularity. Please be honest and accurate. Give specific examples where
possible. All nominations will be held in the strictest confidence. To ensure fairness, evaluators will not see the names of the
nominees. To help in this process, please list the nominee’s name only at the top of this form. Within the body of the
nomination, be non-specific (i.e., he, she, Prof. X, Mr. X, Ms. X). Thank you!
