The Daily Kent Stater – The Daily Kent Stater is an award-winning student-run daily newspaper.
The Burr & CyBurr – The Burr covers the latest in music, entertainment, travel, dining, fashion and sports as well as social, political and environmental issues.
UHURU – UHURU is a forum of exchange on matters concerning minorities, with emphasis on the Pan-African experience.
Luna Negra – Kent State's literary publication is a blend of poetry, prose, photography and illustration.
Fusion – Fusion Magazine addresses sexual minority issues within the general population.
TV2 – TV2 reaches 7,000 Kent State residents and 25,000 Portage County residents on Time Warner Cable channel 16. The station features live news
Monday through Friday, live and taped programming, talk programs and much more including several Kent State sporting events and live election night coverage.
Black Squirrel Radio- The station format consists of college rock, local bands and urban.

TeleProductions is the full-service video production facility located at the Kent campus of Kent State University. For more than 50 years,
TeleProductions has provided the university and surrounding community with a wide range of media production services and award-winning creative, technical and instructional assistance and support. TeleProductions hires multiple student production assistants each semester. As a production assistant, students can write, edit, produce and work on many projects, giving them hands-on experiences.
Glyphix is an award-winning student-staffed design studio within the
School of VCD. The studio provides a professional atmosphere, both in philosophy and physical space, where exceptional student designers develop creative solutions for real-world design projects.
One Roof is a student-operated integrated communications agency created by the College of Communication and Information that offers a complete menu of marketing communications services that include research, strategy, planning and creative development across a wide range of media vehicles from print to broadcast to online. One Roof is staffed and operated by Kent State students with support from Kent State faculty and staff and an outside advisory board of communications professionals.
