Dear MSIT Student’s,
It is the student’s responsibility to file an application for a graduation check
, and pay the diploma fee prior to the beginning of the final semester. The application for graduation initiates review of degree requirements and formal approval by the faculty, as well as serving as a diploma order. Students who fail to complete requirements as planned must update the application for a graduation check, and do so by the appropriate deadline. Students are
“not” required to meet with me to go over their grad check ; however, if you are unsure or have question on when you need to file your graduation check contact me immediately.
The following dates may be of assistance in the future. Students who plan to graduate in the Spring or
Summer semester need to file their graduation check by the beginning of January. Students who plan to graduate in the Fall semester need to file their graduation check by the beginning of August. The actual deadlines will be available in the Registration Guide during early registration.
All students must apply for graduation on-line via your Titan Online in your Student Center . You must meet the minimum application requirements to apply on-line. ( The grad check is found in the drop down menu below your unofficial transcripts ).
After you submit your Graduation Check online you will receive an email with details on how to pay the required fee. Your grad check is not complete until you have paid your fees .
When do I receive a copy of the updated study plan?
Grad checks that are submitted for Spring & Summer will be sent to the College of Business &
Economics in April and an initial review will be done. The grad check will then be forwarded to
Graduate Studies, in MH-103, once they finish reviewing the grad check a copy will be mailed to you around the end of May .
Grad checks that are submitted for Fall will be sent to the College of Business & Economics in
November and an initial review will be done. The grad check will then be forwarded to Graduate
Studies, in MH-103, once they finish reviewing the grad check a copy will be mailed to you around the end of December .
If you have specific questions on your study plan you are welcome to set up an appointment to come in and see me regarding questions on your final coursework.
