Erik Ekudden

Erik Ekudden is Vice President, and Head of Technology and Industry, for the
Ericsson group. Since 2005, he has developed and led Ericsson’s global effort in
technology alignment, standardization and industry initiatives.
Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Ekudden was Director of Research in
multimedia services in Ericsson. He joined Ericsson in 1993, working in research and
representing Ericsson as a technical expert in GSM and WCDMA standardization.
Erik Ekudden was born in Lund, Sweden, in 1968. He graduated with a Master of
Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in
Stockholm, Sweden, in 1992.
