Product Instruction
NVMV is a proven well designed robust fixture for zone 2
and zone 21 hazardous areas. It is recommended for general
illumination of process areas, tank farms, grain handling
& storage facilities, or other arduous areas susceptible to
mechanical, water and corrosion damage.
It is a light weight HID fixture designed with top-hats for ceiling,
wall, stanchion or pendant mounting to suit most applications.
The housing is hook-hinged to the top-hats and an optional
stainless steel “Quick-Clip” could be specified to make
installation and maintenance tasks a breeze.
The top-hats are common with our range of VMV LED Champ
and hence the installation is future-proof for instant upgrade to
the latest technology by simply replacing the fixture.
A cast aluminum guard is screwed onto the threaded housing
and a selection of reflectors (options) can be securely clicked
into position without using tools. This makes installation and
relamping an easy process and therefore a sound cost saving
proposition in installation and over many years in service.
The product comes in small body up to 250W and a large body
housing for 250W and 400W, when a higher T rating is required.
The integral control gear is housed in a separate enclosure for
excellent heat management and incorporates a built-in thermal
cut-out feature prevents continuous restriking of an EOL lamp.
