is a specification of public health

From bio-terrorism attacks and disease outbreaks to natural and

Cooper Notification offers the two types of PCA Alerts that are required
by the CDC, Direct Alerting and Cascade Alerting. As a new PHIN 2.01
requirement, Cascade Alerting allows officials to issue alerts to recipients
in another jurisdiction by means of a system-to-system message. Instead
of sending a message directly to health officials, first responders or other
organizations in another jurisdiction, the message is sent to the receiving
jurisdiction’s alerting system, which processes the alerts and then distributes
it to correct officials and role assignments within their jurisdiction. RSAN
HAN the ability to send and receive Cascade Alerts.
Whether mobilizing first responders, seeking assistance from surrounding
city and county emergency management agencies, or informing citizens of
an urgent health alert, RSAN Enterprise Alerting allows internal, interagency,
and external communications. Send manual, automated or pre-defined
alerts to all types of notification channels, including text messaging,
emails, voice calls and computer desktop alerts. RSAN Enterprise Alerting
System is a scalable and reliable mass notification solution that can alert
individuals, groups or thousands of people within seconds during times of
crisis.
