Article Review—(10 points)
Due Wednesday March 28, 2007
1. Find an article in one of the magazines or newspapers
listed below that discusses one of the following topics:
a. A career success story—a story about a real person who
became successful in his/her career.
b. A story about a company or organization that has done
something good or beneficial for society, the
community or its employees.
c. Information about a career field in which you have an
interest.
2. Read the article, and answer the following questions:
a. Why did you select this article?
b. What were 3 of the most important points in the
article?
c. How will this information help you as you consider
your career/educational options?
3. Make a copy of the article (OR a copy of the Table of
Contents from the magazine and highlight the article title
and page number), attach to the sheet of paper that has
your answers to the 3 questions and submit to me in class
on Wednesday, March 28.

their signature indicating that they assisted you and attach it
to the report you hand in to me. You will receive a bonus of 10
points!
NOTE 2: If upon the recommendation of the reference librarian,
you find the absolute most perfect article in a magazine or
newspaper that is NOT on the above list, I will accept it, but
ONLY with the recommendation of the librarian.
