Demos of all techniques: pinch, coil, slab, wheel, mold.
Recommend: finish first 5 (glaze test) pieces by 2/04
2/09-18 Studio work throwing OR hand building bowls and cylinders.
Recommend: finish bowl by 2/18. Start mugs/pitchers, research series of three project.

2/23-3/04 Studio work on mugs, pitchers, studio management
Start series of three project . Research maiolica tile project (background reading, look at examples), make test tile. Research/plan Student Showcase project

Recommend: finish mugs/pitchers by 3/04, start vase forms.
Studio work on vases, optional covered jars, series project, maiolica test tiles, Showcase piece maiolica test tile as needed. Glaze maiolica project when ready.
Recommend: finish 2 nd in series AND Showcase project by 4/10 to allow time for drying over spring break. Possible gallery or studio visit.
