Pass the question: Students review grammar points or question-asking with cards. Students either form a double circle or if there is no space, just ask and answer questions by passing them once they are finished. The activity works well for information questions as well. Here is an example with yes/no simple past questions. The questions can be doubled for large classrooms. Did you go to your country last year? Did you go out for dinner last night? Did you do your homework yesterday? Did you go to the movies last weekend? Did you have a headache yesterday? Did you pay your bills last month? Did you make a new year's resolution? Did you have lunch with a friend yesterday? Did you buy something new in 2009? Did you walk to school today? Did you take the bus to school yesterday? Did you drive to school this morning? Did you leave early, late or on time this morning? Did you enjoy your holiday? Did you go anywhere special for the holidays? Did you make a new year's wish? Did you watch TV last night? Did you like the computer lab last week? Did you go to work yesterday? Did you talk with your partner last week? Did you talk with your boss yesterday? Did you start a new job? Did you spend a lot of money during the holidays? Did you come to class yesterday? Did you take your children to school yesterday? Did you pick up your children from school on time yesterday? Did you study your English yesterday? Did you speak English yesterday? Did you read English yesterday? Did you need to fill out a school application for this class? Did you have a nice weekend? Did you do anything special last weekend? Lisa Rivoallon 2009
