INTERDISCIPLINARY PhD PROGRAMME IN
Sensory Systems, Technologies &
Therapies (SenSyT)
Two PhD studentships are available within a novel UCL doctoral programme on
Sensory Systems, Technologies & Therapies (SenSyT).

Applicants should submit a supporting statement, a CV, and the details of two
academic referees. The studentship includes a tax-free maintenance stipend of
£18,000 per annum (2015/16 rate) and tuition fees paid in full at the home/EU rate.
Start date: Key requirements: Application deadline: October 2015
1st class or upper 2nd degree in a relevant discipline
August 9th 2015. (Interviews are expected to be held in late
August/early September)
SenSyT is part of a multi-disciplinary research network dedicated to the study of sensory diseases and their
disorders, which harnesses the vast range of research disciplines, and experimental approaches, available
at UCL. SenSyT is committed to advancing basic and translational research into sensory function to tackle
the scientific, and biomedical, challenges of human sensory health. A particular focus of the SenSyT
programme is given to the senses of vision and hearing.
