CSD-N-6000 Surge Diverter
N-type coaxial cable power surge protection
Description
The CSD-N-6000 Surge Diverter is a low insertion loss surge arrestor
for applications up to 6 GHz. This bulkhead surge arrestor has female
N-type to N-type connectors, protecting the module from the impact
of surge in-rush currents from antenna and cabling.
Used with CC3/CC10/CC20 coaxial cables (N-type) and CCTAILSMA-M or CCTAIL-BNC-M coaxial cable fly leads, it allows
connection to ELPRO products with either an SMA female or
BNC female antenna connector.
The CSD-N-6000 is designed to be installed in the cabinet box wall,
which provides the gland/weather seal for the cable entry.
NNote: Surge protection devices rely on good earth grounding practices to be
effective. This product assumes both a metallic enclosure and good ground
connection to the enclosure. If in doubt, apply another earth ground under the
locknut to create a sufficient earth ground.

DO NOT STAND NEAR OR TOUCH OPERATING EQUIPMENT DURING AN
ELECTRICAL STORM, AS THE CSD-N-6000 WILL NOT PROTECT PERSONNEL.
