New Cooper Lighting and Safety Bulkhead Luminaire
Features Tough IP65 Housing
DONCASTER, UK, October XX, 2010 – Cooper Lighting and Safety, a business unit of Cooper
Safety, has introduced a new version of its popular Patriot bulkhead compact fluorescent luminaire,
offering a choice of sizes and additional lamp options to complement its renowned vandal-resistant
IP65 polycarbonate housing.
Providing a robust, durable and energy-efficient lighting solution for use in interior or exterior
applications, Patriot 2 is equipped with opal or prismatic polycarbonate diffusers and a high-quality
gasket for life-long IP65 protection against the ingress of dust or water.
This versatile and competitively priced luminaire is available in round or square versions, in major or
minor sizes, and with black or white body colour. Designed for ceiling or wall mounting, it features
rear and side entry points and a hinged geartray that makes for quick and easy installation.
The luminaire is supplied with 16W, 28W or 38W compact fluorescent lamps and can be specified
with either high-frequency control gear for maximum energy efficiency or switch-start gear.
Maintained emergency versions are available as standard, making Patriot 2 suitable for defined
escape routes as well as open areas.
