Step 2: Everyone at your table share their expectations. Step 3: Narrow down your table objectives to 3‐5 main objectives you can collectively agree on. Step 4: When prompted by your trainer, have someone at your table share your objectives with the large group. These will be recorded on the next slide or on flip chart paper. Step 5: The trainer will incorporate your needs throughout the day, or create a way to follow up on your needs after the training. 5 Activity: Log Facilitator Training Expectations Large Group Activity: Analyzing MAPS Participants Look For: • How present is the youth’s vision and voice in the maps? • Were all the maps completed ? • Was there a good balance of words and graphics? • Did the youth engage and share? • Are the goals and next steps clear? • What did you notice about this Facilitator’s style?
