Concerned person invited to SIT Meeting. No further Intervention Individuals gather data (Teacher information, parent information, history, health, discipline, attendance, test scores, transcripts) Recommended SIT considers all support services available to all students and makes appropriate recommendations At risk due to: Failed portions of State Assessment Failing grades Below grade level Extended illness Attendance Substance abuse Child abuse Suicidal ideation Depression Eating disorder Truancy/Tardy AggressionlViolence Pregnancy Excessive discipline issues Delinquent behavior A physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities with educational need Evaluatelldentify students as 504.
