Secondary Teacher Certification Successful completion of this course of studies, together with courses in education, qualifies the student for recommendation for certification for the Michigan Department of Education Secondary Provisional Certificate with an endorsement in social studies (certification code “RX”) and an endorsement in history (certification code “CC”). This program of studies meets all requirements of the National Council for the Social Studies.
