Eastern Michigan University WOMEN’S AND GENDER STUDIES PROGRAM CALL FOR OUTSTANDING PAPERS Margaret L. Rossiter Award Outstanding Graduate Paper Criteria: Papers may be in any discipline, but the focus must be on women and/or gender. The papers must have been written between January and December 2015. Candidates must have been enrolled at EMU at the time the paper was written, though they need not be majors, minors, nor in the Women’s Studies graduate program. Format: Eligible papers must be typed and double-spaced, and 10-20 pages in length. A cover page with the title of the paper, the author’s name, address, email address, and telephone number, the course or purpose for which the paper was written, and the term during which it was written, should accompany the paper. A brief letter of nomination from the sponsoring professor should accompany the paper. Award: There is a one hundred dollar award for each prize, one undergraduate and one graduate. The awards will be presented at the Women’s and Gender Studies Honors Reception, April 8, 2016.
