and regional offices and Disaster Field Offices (DFO’s) were established in Lufkin,
Ft. Worth and Barksdale AFB, LA
 400+ federal, state and local agencies, volunteer groups and private organizations
responded to the incident
 25,000 +/- personnel were involved in the recovery project

using some or all ESFs as necessary

Deploys components of the National Urban Search
and Rescue Response System to provide
specialized lifesaving assistance, including locating,

local authorities in the event of a major disaster or
emergency
