Work (Student Employment) The Student Financial Aid Office awards Federal Work Study (FWS) to students based on the results of the FAFSA and financial need. The FWS award is not deducted from students’ e-bill. Students receive a bi-weekly paycheck based on hours worked. Limited funding available. Loans In order to receive federal loans, students must be enrolled at least half-time (6 undergraduate hours, 4 graduate hours). Federal Direct Student Loans Students are eligible to receive subsidized and/or unsubsidized loans based on their financial need.
