KathyStrabalahasbeenaScientistattheCooperativeInstituteforMeteorological SatelliteStudiesforover20years.ShereceivedamastersdegreeinMeteorology fromtheUniversityofWisconsin-Madison,USAin1991.SheworkedasaSenior ForecasteratKavouras,Inc.,inMinneapolis,Minnesota,USAfor3yearspriorto receivingherdegree.Shehasworkedprimarilyonclouddetectionandcloud compositionasdeterminedfrompolarorbiters,andhasworkedextensivelyon deliveryanduseofdirectbroadcastsatelliteproductsbytheNationalWeather Service(NWS).KathyistheprojectmanagerfortheInternationalMODIS/AIRS ProcessingPackage(IMAPP)whichprovidessoftwaretocreatesciencedata productsfromdirectbroadcastreceptionofAquaandTerradata. JessicaBraunrejoinedtheSpaceScienceandEngineeringCenter(SSEC)in2014as anAssistantResearcher.Shereceivedamaster'sdegreeinAtmosphericandOceanic SciencefromtheUniversityofWisconsin-Madisonin2007.From2007-2010,she workedwiththeMancomputerInteractiveDataAccessSystem(McIDAS)Users GroupatSSECasaleadtrainerandtester.In2010,shejoinedScienceSystemsand Applications(SSAI)Inc.asaprogrammerfortheNOAAOperationsandMaintenance Contract.WhileatSSAI,shewastheTeamLeadfortheAtmosphericPhysicsGroup attheOfficeofSatelliteandProductOperations(OSPO),workingongeostationary ingest,processing,anddistributionofoperationalproductstotheNationalWeather Service(NWS).JessicacurrentlyworkswiththeCommunitySatelliteProcessing Package(CSPP)andCSPPGeogroupsatSSEC.
