Jeffrey Blander Jeff has held a teaching position at Harvard University and MIT Health Science and Technology Division since 1999, for the course HST 921, that he co-developed on health care, technology, and business practice. Jeff is an internationally recognized consultant, author and speaker on topics relating to clinical and biomedical informatics. Jeff has worked extensively in interfacing academic and commercial clients to implement technology solutions to support e-health initiatives as well as drug discovery, medical device, and clinical genomics research efforts. He served as the chairman of the Technology Committee for the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MBC) from 2002 - 2005. Recently, Jeff served as a Country Program Director for the Clinton Foundation in Jamaica and was awarded a NIH/Fogarty Fellowship in global health and clinical research in Tanzania. Jeff is pursing his Doctorate in Health and Social Behavior at the Harvard School of Public Health, having received two Masters Degrees from Harvard as well as his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Business School.
