To complete the FAFSA, you will need the following information: • Social Security number • Driver’s license number • Federal income tax return and W-2 forms from the previous year • Current bank statements and records of stocks, bonds and other investments • Records of other untaxed income received • If you are a dependent student, you will also need to provide the above information for your parent(s). • When completing your FAFSA, you will be given the option to retrieve your tax data automatically using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. This option simplifies the process for you and will reduce the chance for errors. • While it is your responsibility to complete the FAFSA, we can certainly help along the way.
