Psychiatry
Experience of Old Age Psychiatry in the community, on an inpatient basis and on-call duties.
Carrying out psychiatric assessments and becoming familiar with management options.
Glaxo day hospital, Lister Hospital, Stevenage & Elizabeth Court Graveley
Dr K Ashaye
To review and monitor patients in the day hospital. Clerk in new admissions. Make medication
adjustments and assess mental state. To see patients in OP clinics. To carry out joint
domiciliary visits with mental health nurses. May occasionally be asked to offer cover to
specialty doctor and review patients in the NHS Continuing Care unit in Elizabeth Court.

Carrying out psychiatric
assessments and becoming familiar with management options.
QE2 Mental Health Unit Hollybush Day Hospital and Community Mental Health Team

To perform reviews of patients attending the Day Hospital to monitor medication adjustments
and mental state. To see patients in OP clinics. To carry out Domiciliary Visits to patients to
carry out assessment of their mental state.
