UPDATE ON THE SOUTHWEST FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT
DISTRICT’S SURPLUS LANDS ASSESSMENT
Mr. Joseph Quinn, SWFW MD Land Management Manager, will provide an update on the
District’s review of its lands to possibly surplus tracts that are not meeting the District’s
mission. The assessment process has been completed for all lands owned by the
District, and the results are of interest to ABM.

TAMPA BAY MITIGATION BANK
Ms. Beverly Birkitt, President of Birkitt Environmental Services, will give an overview of the
operating Tampa Bay Mitigation Bank: 161 acres of land surrounding the headwaters of
Andrews Creek, on the southeast portion of the peninsula between Little Cockroach Bay and
Cockroach Bay, in Hillsborough County.
