DASD/Homeland Security Integration (Program & Budget Integration)
Duties Statement: Serves as the principal advisor to ASD(HD) for oversight of and guidance for
requirements, priorities, resources, and programs related to administration within the DoD to
support Homeland Defense to include budget development and execution, manpower sourcing,
evaluations and assessments, military accessions and losses, contractor support programs and
program management responsibilities to include OASD(HD) internal budget, studies, and analyses,
staff security, information technology, and supervision of the OASD(HD) Program Management
initiatives. Represents ASD(HD) on various working groups within OSD(Policy) and Washington
Headquarters Services affecting Homeland Defense budgeting, resource management, and program
management matters. Provides program management support for the development and
implementation of planning guidance and policies concerning Homeland Defense within the DoD.
