Rationale, Description of Current Program, Proposed Revision
Proposed changes to the graduate certificate in nonprofit management, NPMG
The proposed changes incorporate the addition into the certificate program of two new courses
currently being proposed, PLSC 604 and 606, and a new MGMT course. The former courses are
replacing two other PLSC graduate courses since they more effectively address the needs of
nonprofit students. Changing the required complement of classes also provides students who are
seeking to complete the certificate in a single year greater flexibility in scheduling since currently
the LAW class is only offered in spring/summer. The revised certificate program is noted below.
