From: Dennis Beagen <dbeagen@emich.edu>

Subject: Thank You All!...and CMTA's Full Support Musical Theatre Minor Revisions

Date: January 18, 2012 3:45:49 PM EST

To: Whitney Prince <jprince@emich.edu>

Cc: Diane L. Winder <dwinder@emich.edu>, Lee Stille <lstille@emich.edu>

Afternoon Whitney...hope all is well for you. Let me begin by thanking all of our MUSD colleagues for their efforts to date in helping with our musical theatre minor. CMTA faculty colleagues, especially Phil Simmons and Howard Cass, have kept me apprised of the developments. Please share our appreciation to all involved, especially colleagues serving on the MUSD Instruction Committee.

Just this morning Dr. Lee Stille again reviewed the proposed changes in the musical theatre minor, and I was most pleased. Lee also indicated that the theatre/performance faculty unanimously approved these proposed changes at their recent program meeting.

Please know that this unanimous vote of the theatre/performance faculty is consistent with the department's full endorsement of these proposed changes. These proposed revisions have my full support and will certainly have the full support of the CMTA

Instruction Committee.

All in all...thanks again for your efforts and commitment to revisions in the musical theatre minor to best serve students enrolled in this program. Let me know if I/we can do anything to assist you.

Best to you, Dennis~
