ESIP EDUCATORS WORKSHOP Asilomar Conference Center, Pacific Grove California Thursday July 16th, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm The Federation of Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) is a unique consortium of scientific organizations that collect, interpret, and develop applications for remotely sensed data. This summer the ESIP education committee is inviting regional educators to join us at the ESIP summer meeting at the Asilomar Conference Center in beautiful Pacific Grove California. The educator’s workshop will last 1 day, Thursday July 16th (shortened from previous plans). Workshop sessions will be focused on using Earth Science data to inform instruction, linking realword scientific data to science curriculum in grades 9-14. ESIP is looking for high school science teachers and community college faculty to join our educational community! Participating Educators are eligible to receive a $150.00 time & travel stipend.
