Preliminary exercises for Critical Review due in Ses #10. Write a paragraph characterizing the stance of each writer you plan to consider in your critical review. Write a tentative outline for your projected paper. The outline should include at least two lines for each paragraph that you plan to include: one line describing the topic of the paragraph and one line identifying the evidence you plan to consider in that paragraph—a quote, a specific example, or other concrete detail from the NEJM articles. The resulting outline should be at least 24 lines long. Feel free to develop a more complete outline. We will go over the outlines in class, and I will review them and send you each a brief comment by Friday at 5pm. Bring three copies of your exercises to class.
