 Study Tip & Joke
-Tip: Taking time to plan is one of the most important skills a student can
have. Don’t just start the week with the vague goal of studying for a
history exam—instead, break up that goal into smaller tasks. Pencil it in
on the calendar like a regular class: For example, allot every day from 1 to
3 p.m. to review 50 years’ worth of info.
-Joke: Q: What do you call friends who love math?
A: Algebros.
Vice President of External Affairs

month until the event, and still need to raise $14,620. If 375 people raise
$40 we can easily obtain our goal. The top chapter will earn $100 into
their x-fund account, the top three chapters will receive a 100 points
toward Greek Week, and individuals who raise the $40 will get into the
dance for free.
o Service Challenge
–Provost Schatatzel has issued the challenge to all of Greek life to perform
365 full days’ worth of service, which equals 8, 760 hours’ worth of
service this year. Averaged out that’s about 17 hours per member. Each
chapter will be responsible for a different percentage of hours depending
on chapter size. Please log all service into the Google form. The chapters
that reach their determined goal, to be included in the minutes, will be
invited to a celebration with Provost Schatzel at the end of the year, as
well as be recognized at Greek Awards, and have recognition sent to their
National Headquarters.
