S ignature ARTIST'S STATEMENT The prints and drawings presented in this thesis exhibition represent an investigation of a concept based on a minimum set of biomorpbic and geometric forms. With this finite set of images I am exploring the variety of-solutions open to me through intuitive changes in their color, size, quantity, juxtaposition and inter action on a flat surface. The spatial aspects of these images are of primary importance. The forms relate to each other on the picture plane with an infer ence to their existence in three dimensional space. This suggestion of a multi Ieyef spatial quality has become more predominate as the concept has evolved through an expansion of vocabulary to include shadow and illusion. 1 The evolutionary nature of this work allows.for continued exploration and growth within a limited set of images.
