This program will offer a few basic skills on how to de-escalate an agitated student. Although there are no guarantees, these strategies are intended to be thought provoking and used in a flexible manner to increase the odds that an educator can respond efficiently and effectively to a student who presents a wide range of emotional issues. This training session merely offers options to consider when an unexpected situation occurs.
