Department of Political Science
2-Year Course Rotation

Notes:
1. A writing-intensive course is required in your major. Such courses have a “W” following the number.
They are never offered by this department during summer and have limits on which students can
register earliest.
2. Internships (PLSC 387, 480, 486, 487, 488, 489) are offered every semester. However, you must have
department permission (DP) to register.
3. Two courses (PLSC 450, 451) are offered only in the evening at the Livonia Center; several others are
offered there on an occasional basis.
4. Sections of PLSC 112, 120, 202, 211, 212, and 215 are generally offered on line at least once per year,
sometimes during summer.
5. Other courses numbered 300 and above are offered on an occasional basis. Topics courses (last two
digits are 79) are specialized classes offered on a one-time or experimental basis.
