class! Focus on strengthening the abs and the lower back
through a variety of exercise circuits!
BOOTCAMP (Alternative Fit Room): Challenge yourself
physically and mentally! This group fitness class offers a
variety of high energy methods, to get an allover body
workout. For any level of fitness, come ready to work hard and
sweat away the day.
BUTTS & GUTS (Weight Room): Why do a workout
dedicated to you "butt" and your "gut"? Glutes (the muscles of
your butt) are important! Glutes power your body through
movement. Strong glutes are the key if you want to be
healthier, stronger, faster, or more explosive. Abs are
important! Abs are integral for ideal posture and balance.
Become the healthiest version of you.
CARDIO & WEIGHTS (Room 214): Incorporate weights
and cardio in one workout session! This class will address a
variety of goals, so whether you are looking to improve your
cardio capacity, bone density, posture, body composition - all
while learning something new, this is the class for you. This
class is appropriate for and open to all ages and ability levels.
CORE TRAINING (Room 213): This class is dedicated to
the abs and lower back. You will be lead through a class that
burns calories, improves your posture and lower back pain,
and promotes strength and endurance for your core.
EVENING FLOW (Room 214): This class begins with a
Yoga flow to warm up and work your muscles. As the class
continues, the tempo slows down, and you will feel your
muscles lengthen and stretch, relieving tightness and
soreness. Finish off feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Yoga
mats are provided
EVERYTHING CARDIO (4th Floor Track): This class is
designed to get your bodies moving! It will consist of varying
intensity aerobic exercise involving walking, jogging, rowing
and plyometrics, followed by a cool-down and stretches.
H2O FITNESS (Club Pool): Enjoy an efficient workout in
our Club Pool without the impact on your joints/bones. This
class is designed as a whole body workout utilizing H2O
equipment in deep and shallow environments.
HEALTH DISCUSSION (5th Floor): Learn about health and
wellness during the Rec/IM’s health discussion. Annie will
teach you what you need to know about staying healthy on
and off campus. Discover easy recipes, smart shopping lists,
mental health techniques and how to set up your own diet,
along with other accurate information about staying fit.
HIIT (Alternative Fit Room): This high intensity class is
designed for someone looking to maximize their workout
time. HIIT is a progressive approach to interval training that
incorporates full body calisthenics and compound
weightlifting exercises. Sure to challenge and improve both
the muscular and cardio-respiratory system, be ready to
“HIIT” it hard.
INTRO TO WEIGHTLIFTING (Weight Room): Are you too
intimidated to go into the weight room? Are you unsure what to
do with free weights and/or some of the strength equipment in
the Rec/IM Fit Room? You will become familiar with the
equipment used in the gym as well as gaining knowledge on
safety, using the correct form and conditioning exercises.
UPPER BODY TRAINING (Weight Room): This class is for
those looking to strengthen and improve their upper body. In
this class you will be taught how to strengthen your arms,
shoulders, back, and chest through progressive anaerobic weight
training. Come and try a fun and challenging way to gain those
tighter triceps, killer guns, or superman back muscles you've
always wanted.
RELAXATION (Room 213): Balance out your busy week
with candle lit relaxation. Release stress and tension. You will
learn new relaxation techniques, while feeling their impact. Yoga
mats are provided.

blast on the bikes simulating a real-life road course up and down
hills, and through speed intervals! You will incorporate targeted
movements to gain strength and tone your body. This high
intensity class will encourage you to burn calories and gain
cardiorespiratory endurance.
TRANSFORMATION 101 (Room 214): Do you need to
start working out? This class is a 60 minute gateway to a better
you. Designed for those who are ready to change their bodies
but don't know where to start, this class introduces you to a
variety of different exercise techniques, from yoga to resistance
training. Give yourself the foundation you need to build a strong,
functional, and great looking body. All while teaching and
reinforcing proper movement patterns that are vital for an
active and injury free lifestyle. Improve how you look, live, feel,
and have a great time doing it!
WOMEN WITH WEIGHTS (Weight Room): Who said
women can’t pump iron too? This class offers an assortment of
full-body exercises. Lifting weights can help you build a toned,
sculpted, and feminine body. Whether you are new to lifting
weights or at advanced level this is a class designed to take away
all of those fears and build strong women. Empower your body
and mind while gaining all-around strength.
