What do I do when a ticket prints out of the Tapingo printer?
1. Retrieve Tapingo ticket upon hearing buzz notification from printer
2. Place yellow Tapingo ticket as the next order in the food preparation queue. The Tapingo order is treated as if
the person physically stood in line and just finished paying for his/her order. These orders do not jump ahead of
anyone else who has previously ordered in person and are put into the normal production flow immediately.
a. Example: Drink orders are typically transcribed onto a cup. When a tapingo ticket prints, write
“TAP[NAME]” along with drink order onto the cup and place order into the drink queue.
3. Prepare order by following the details and comments on the Tapingo ticket
4. Package the completed order with the yellow Tapingo ticket
5. Place order in the designated Tapingo pickup area
6. If Ipad is available, hit the blue “Notify” button for the completed order or scan the QR code on the receipt
using the Tapingo iPad
What’s on a Tapingo ticket?
• Merchant Name
• Tapingo Order Number
• Order Timestamp
