2163 INSTRUCTION Traffic Safety Education The District may provide traffic safety instruction for eligible students in accordance with current state regulations. A fee may be assessed to cover those costs which are not reimbursed by state funds. Procedures shall be developed to deal with program supervision; curriculum development; student enrollment criteria, including but not limited to, grade level of student, age of student and enrollment status of student; student competencies needed for successful completion of program; and collection and refunding of student fees. The course of instruction shall consist of two phases: classroom instruction and laboratory experience.
