your storm water fees at work
Dear Resident:
April 2012
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services
continues to work on the Sunnyvale/Chandworth
Storm Drainage Improvement Project. The goals
of this project are to reduce flooding of streets
and structures, as well as reduce erosion along the
stream and channel.
The planning submittal for the first alternative
solution is complete and the consultant is
beginning to investigate the second alternative
solution.
For more information about this project, please visit
our website at http://stormwater.charmeck.org and
click on Storm Water Projects drop down menu in
the green bar, then Active Projects and Sunnyvale.
If you have any questions, please contact Project
Manager Jackie Bray at jbray@charlottenc.gov or

in place better than plant roots.
Soil testing in North Carolina is free. Take the guesswork out of fertilizer
and lime purchases.
Charlotte receives more rain than Seattle.
