Hill Street storm drainage improvement project YOUR STORM WATER FEES AT WORK July 2012 Dear Resident, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services has hired a consultant, Dewberry and Davis, Inc., to investigate possible improvements to the storm drainage system in the Hill Street project area. The project is bordered by Morehead Street and North Carolina Railroad to the east, First and Cedar Streets to the north, Tryon and Palmer Streets to the south, Clarkson Street and Irwin Creek to the west. The survey work is scheduled to begin during the next couple of weeks and will take several months to complete. Representatives from the Project Team may need to enter your property to collect survey data on the existing storm drainage system. While State law authorizes access to private property for this purpose, no buildings or structures will be entered or disturbed. If you have any questions, please contact Project Manager Danée McGee at dmcgee@charlottenc.gov or 704-336-4102.
