2). A reminder to all 8th grade students to be checking your email frequently. The high
school counselors are using this form of communication to answer questions you have
concerning course placement
3). Mark your calendars Spring Lifetouch pictures will be taken April 6th.
4). If you are participating in the Color-A-Thon and want a flashing button, please bring the parent
signed slip of paper located in the packet to lunch on tomorrow.
5). Calling all artists:
We are in need of a cover design for the Marlowe agenda for the 2016-2017 school year.
Please submit your designs to Mrs. Tontillo no later than April 5th. Requirements include
having Marlowe in the design as well as the school year 2016-2017. The winner will receive a gift
card. Don't forget to make sure your first and last name is on the back of design.
6). Thank you Marlowe. We collected over 999 books for Bernie's Book Bank. The winning
advisory was Ms. Nawrocki's with 186 books and they won the donut party. Congratulations.
7). Congratulations to the cast of the Lion King Jr! You put on an amazing musical and we are all
so proud of your talent.

PARENT ANNOUNCEMENT
If you have the PowerSchool application on your cell phone and have opted in to receive notifications, you
may receive an alert saying your student is absent for certain periods. If your child is absent and you have
already called the absentee line prior to the alert, you do not have to call the absentee line again. Your student's
attendance will be updated. If you have not called in your child's attendance, please call the absentee line at
847-659-4711. If you prefer to not receive this attendance alert notification, you can deactivate it through the
mobile app by going to Settings > Notifications > uncheck Attendance; this should cancel the notifications.
