undertaking Clinical Research studies

Includes clinical, laboratory and specialised technical

The WTCRF IT area develops administration
software required to support the CRF processes.
To date, systems development include:
– Study Manager
– Course Manager
– Scheduling system
ASP.NET, C# and MS SQL server.

Database hosting – used university service for
approx. 3 years but needed to upgrade to SQL 2005
and have greater access
Certificates – purchased from SSL247 rather than
via JANET. Fast and cost effective.
Web application hosting – used university service
but required full access to configure sites so
purchased own server.
