Malgorzata Armanowska, from Gdansk, is a young soloist of distinction
whose career has ranged from the opera-house to the concert-hall and
television. She has already made numerous appearances in the West, and
this is her second visit to England, during which her engagements also
include recitals for the Schubert Society of Great Britain and at the Polish
Cultural Institute. Alexander Wells (born at Oxford in 1954) was a pupil of
Leonie Gombrich before studying in Paris and at the Royal College under
Stephen Savage.
He now has a busy career as an accompanist, operatic
