MINOR REQUIREMENTS
Communication Minor - declare as a communication minor with the academic advisor in O’Kelly 332 and then work towards
your minor requirements. These include:
 Completing admission requirements of the Communication Program
 Completing 24 Communication credits and maintaining a C or better in all Communication courses
 Maintaining an overall GPA of 2.5
Meet with your academic advisor to set up your plan of study. In order to register for courses that are restricted to majors, an
over-ride can be provided by your Communication Program Academic Advisor. Call 701.777.2159 to set up an appointment.

Major Requirements – Required minimum of 24 credits, Communication majors must earn a grade of “C” or better in all
Communication courses.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Pass English 110 College Composition I (B or better)
Pass English 120 College Composition II OR English 125 Technical & Business Writing (B or better)
