Clery Act- This law which applies to all institutions
of higher education, both public and private, which
participate in any federal student aid programs,
requires schools to publicly disclose three years of
campus statistics and basic security policies.
What is Our Mission
Who Can Participate?
It is the general mission of the UND
Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic to
provide supervised academic and clinical
instruction and research experience for
students; to provide clinical services to
individuals, groups and agencies within
the University and greater Grand Forks
area; to provide professional leadership
within the local, state and national
professional organizations; and to
contribute to the body of knowledge
concerning communication processes and
communication disorders.
The summer clinic is designed to meet the
needs of children and adolescents with
various communication delays and
disorders including:
What is Summer Clinic?
What are the costs?
The summer clinic is an intensive, six week
therapy program that is designed to improve
children’s speech and language skills.
The cost for the 6 week, 24 session
program is $250. If available, the cost for
sessions only two days per week will be
$125.
When is summer clinic?

The summer clinic begins on June 13
and continues until July 21st. Sessions are
held Monday – Thursday and are offered
on the hour from 8:00-12:00. Each daily
intervention session lasts 50-minutes.
Preference is given to those who can
attend 4 sessions per week.
1. Children with language disorders.
2. Children with speech sound disorders.
3. Children with a medical diagnosis that
impacts their communication (cleft
palate, autism, etc.).
4. Children who use augmentative or
alternative communication.
5. Children with fluency disorders.
We are able to bill some insurance
companies if your child is eligible. This
needs to be done on a session to session
basis rather than a 6-week fee. You must
provide the clinic with the necessary
insurance information by May 2nd if you
wish to bill insurance for the services.

How Do I Register?
Call the UND Speech, Language, and
Hearing Clinic to request the summer
registration packet by April 13, 2016.
Space is limited and scheduling is
done on a first come, first served
basis.
