SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT: CROSS-DISCIPLINARY AND CROSS-SECTOR COLLABORATIONS IN WORKING LANDSCAPES The College of Arts & Sciences, with support of the Gransberg Family Endowment in Environmental Studies, is pleased to present a campus and community-wide discussion of sustainable landscape management in rural and urban environments. The primary goal of the Gransberg Family Endowment is to “provide UND students the opportunity and encouragement to develop a firm understanding of the environmental crisis the world is facing and to recognize the environmental consequences of economic decisions.” The speaker series will engage the campus, local, and regional communities in a discussion of the role inter-relationships among ecology, sociology, and economics play in the sustainable management of rural and urban landscapes in public and private sectors.
