ITU-T Focus Group on Audiovisual Media Accessibility (FG AVA) would like to liaise officially
with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as your organization is involved in the
standardisation of in-flight safety features for passenger transport.
FG AVA would like to establish exchanges of information and cooperation with your organization,
in the context of audio-visual accessibility, especially for your standardisation in the pre-flight
safety demonstration video for passengers, in terms of effective presentation of captioning
(subtitles) and sign language interpreters.
FG AVA would like to know the most appropriate contact point within ICAO to establish a formal
liaison.
We welcome future communication and look forward to further collaboration with you.
