Association
Originally from Lima, Peru, Millie Aguilar is the CEO and Owner of
two construction companies. After finishing high school, Millie
pursued her career in Interior Design at The Toulouse Lautrec
Institute where she also learned foreign languages including French
and English. At the age of 23, she moved to United States with her
grandmother. During the country's worst economic recession in
2008, Millie founded Red Rooster Contractors, LLC in Charlotte,
NC. In 2009, she established Royal Roofing, LLC.

The innovative companies, offer services in both North and South
Carolina. With over seven years of experience and various
certifications as a minority contractor, Millie’s main objectives are to
ensure top quality and excellent customer service in the residential
and commercial Roofing Markets. The companies have also
expanded to included Restoration and Interior/Exterior Renovations
such as windows, siding, gutters, painting, drywall, cabinetry,
countertop installation, flooring, etc.
Millie is the proud mother of two daughters and is always learning
and participating in programs that help her to continue to grow as a
role model and to succeed as a Latina Woman with two
construction businesses in the Carolinas. Millie was the recipient of
the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Crowns of Enterprise Award 2013 as the
Rising Business of the Year. She is also a graduate of the “Count
Me In” Business Accelerator Program sponsored by American
Express and Sam’s Club. Millie was nominated for “La Noticia’s
Excelente Business Woman of the Year” award, 2013. She is a
graduate of the Latin American Chamber Business Builder program
and was named as the most innovative participant. In 2013, Millie
was invited to participate as a panelist at the Charlotte Business
Journal Multicultural Business Forum. In 2014, Millie was the
recipient of the recognition “Outstanding Services” with the Hispanic
Contractors Association of the Carolinas’ Brilliance Awards. In
2015, Millie has been invited to participate as a member of the
Business Advisory Committee for the City of Charlotte and also was
appointed to participate on the Board of Directors with the Hispanic
Contractors Association of the Carolinas.
Millie is active in her community and works closely with several
non-profit organizations such as Rebuilding Together of the Greater
Charlotte, Habitat for Humanity, and Raising Up.
