Proceedings of 9th Asian Business Research Conference 20-21 December, 2013, BIAM Foundation, Dhaka, Bangladesh ISBN: 978-1-922069-39-9 Screening and Ranking Fast Expanding Markets (Fems) Samiur Rahman Talukder, MFin Concepts and methodologies related to screening market economies have attracted controversy due to their inability in determining specific, growth markets, and in ranking growth markets. A number of concepts have consequently been developed with the aim of enhancing the evaluation of rapidly growing markets. Among these concepts is the fast expanding market (FEM) concept that employs a broad strategy in the screening and ranking of rapidly growing opportunities by placing markets at the focal point. Unfortunately, no methodology currently exists in screening and ranking fast expanding markets. This paper’s research is focused on developing a suitable screening and ranking model that provides evidence based predictions of fast expanding markets, and calculates the contribution of various microeconomic variables to a rapidly growing market.
